Father & Son sea fishing holiday at Chesil Beach chance meeting after a tough fishing session made my day.

It was one of those sea fishing sessions where you put in 100% of effort and you just get beaten away with the weed. The early morning was very windy with heavy inshore gusts with blankets of weed starting from just a few meters out, towards the end of the video you can see the weed clearly.

Staying positive and fishing on no matter what was my goal, I had been enjoying the fishing even though no fish were caught and just as I was wondering what to do with a decent amount of fresh Mackerel fillets and whole Squid left over, a surprise encounter happened, a really nice father & son approached to ask about fishing at Chesil Beach. They had just arrived for a weeks holiday and had never done beach fishing before. After talking about beach sea fishing for about half an hour and showing them how to bait up I couldn't of been happier to give my fresh Mackerel and Squid away to such a nice father & son for there beach sea fishing holiday at Chesil Beach.

What a waste it would've been to have thrown the fresh Mackerel and Squid in to the sea, the thought of just throwing it into the sea and then being approached asking about beach sea fishing at Chesil Beach would have been so disappointing for the father & son but especially me. It made my day to be able to give them the fresh Mackerel and Squid for their first beach sea fishing adventure.

I sincerely hope that the father & son had a great experience sea fishing from the beach and that they had much better luck than I did, fingers crossed the weed went away for them and they caught a fish or two.
