Purulia is the oldest district of West Bengal. This place is surrounded by hills and jungles.
How to reach Purulia:
There are regular buses and Trains to Purulia. Purulia can be reach by car also.

Where to visit Purulia?

Jhalda Circuit: This place is the western part of Purulia. Jhalda, Jajahatu, Tulin, Charida are the main attraction of this place.
Muri is the most prominent rail head near Jhalda.

Places to visit in Jhalda, Purulia:

Jajahatu: An offbeat tourist destination of Purulia. This place is surrounded by Palash trees. Jaria, Kirtania, Syndrelia hills are there.

Narahara Dam: This is also an offbeat place of Purulia. This dam is surrounded by hills.

Kuki Dam : Kuki dam is situated on Rupai river.

Charida Village: The village is populer for production of mask which used in Chau Dance.

Ajodhya Circuit:
Ajodhya hill is one of most popular tourist attraction of Purulia.

How to reach Ajodhya Pahar?
To reach Ajodhya Pahar one has to reach Purulia Station and from there one have to take a car to reach Ajodhya.

Place to see at Ajodhya Hill:

Lahoria Dam: This dam is situated at the foot hills of Ajodhya hill.

Lower Dam: Lower dam is situated at the middle part of Ajodhya Hill.

Upper Dam: This dam is situated on the top of Ajodhya Hill.

Bamni Waterfall: Bamni Waterfall is one of the most attractive tourist attraction of Ajodhya Hill.

Murguma Dam: Another offbeat but most beautiful tourist attraction of Purulia.

Garh Circuit:
Garh Circuit is famous for ancient temples and dam.

How to reach Garh circuit of Purulia?
To reach garh circuit one have to reach Asansole first. From there you will get car for Garh Panchakot.
