Meet Arizona State University alumni Nataly and Victor Cruz. This spring Victor completed his Master of Social Work and Nataly completed a Master of Science in family and human development. In this episode of Sun Devil Spotlight, the Cruz’s share what motivated them to pursue higher education and their experience with ASU Online.

As first-generation college graduates with a young neurodivergent daughter, they wanted to provide her with the resources she needs for a bright future. The flexibility of online learning allowed them to complete their degrees together while being at home with their daughter. Victor, who immigrated to the U.S., is passionate about building a career that supports others in the immigration process. Nataly, a proud advocate for the Latinx community, will use her experience to work directly with marginalized populations. Both are dedicated to using their education to build better lives for future generations.
