This large green pour art was part one of three commissioned pieces. I used a combination of a ribbon pour and pseudo flip cup technique to create this effect. I just love the elegance and sophistication of this gemstone color combo on these large canvas's!

I used a 3:1 ratio of floetral to paint and water to thin. Featured colors are Featured colors are viridian/sap green, metallic black/sap green, viridian/sap green/white, Paynes grey, gold, and white. 24"x36" Please like and subscribe. Every little bit helps! :)

I didn't choose art, it chose me. Since the age of 5 I knew I was meant to be an artist and have pursued that passion ever since. I've worked as a graphic designer professionally my entire adult life and have always done abstract art on the side. In mid 2020 I was working on a commissioned piece and was asked if I could make something in the style of pour painting. I had been pinning acrylic pouring/fluid art on Pinterest for a few years but had know idea how to create it. Thanks to the many wonderful artists on YouTube who were willing to share their creation videos, tips, and tutorials on liquid acrylic painting I was able to start creating work in this style and I wanted to share that experience with you. Make sure to like and subscribe to my channel to follow along my journey of failures and triumphs and see all the fun techniques I try for the first time. There will also be tips and tricks I learn along the way along with easier beginner projects you might want to try at home! Comment below if there’s something you’ve seen that you want me to try I’d love to hear from you!
