Happy St. Patrick's Day from http://www.QbertSkratchUniversity.com

To celebrate St. Patrick's Day, DJ Qbert did a special lesson on Clover Tears. Clover Tears are just like the regular tears, but with two forwards and two backs. DJ Qbert emphasizes practicing these slow. In the video, when he's teaching, he illustrates the learning process himself. First, doing each up slowly and doing each down slowly, and then, speeding it up. "With practice and patience you'll be rewarded," says Qbert.

Qbert Skratch University is a global community of DJs all taking their turntable skills to the next level in a fun and positively constructive way. You want direct feedback on your cuts from DJ Qbert? Now you got it! Qbert will personally respond to YOUR practice videos and tell you what you should do to progress. You also have access to all of Qbert's Video Exchanges™, so you learn from others even if you don't submit a video. There's a ton of beats to get into, an interactive Training Dojo for virtual Q n A scratching, behind the scenes videos, interviews, battles, and a whole lot more.

Rich Quitevis, better known as DJ Qbert, is the world ambassador of the DJ as a musician. Qbert has been synonymous with scratching since the early 1990s, and is widely considered to be one of the most influential DJs of all time. If there ever was someone who should run his own DJ school, it's Qbert.

Qbert's DJ school covers all aspects of scratching from beginner level to highly advanced level topics: Trick Mixing, Serato, Traktor, Turntable Repair, and much more. Whenever you have a question or want to know how you're doing, submit a practice video directly through the website. Qbert will watch your video and then record a personalized video response for you with how you're doing and ways you can tighten up your technique.
