Fun fact, the line "Now keep flying in your autogyros" is pretty good because the world's first autogyro was invented in 1923. Which is convenient considering the fact that Plane Crazy (a cartoon made by Walt Disney) was released in 1928. Both planes that were invented and in the animation have a very similar look to the ones that Cuphead and Mugman use. Granted the creators of Cuphead were going for a more 80's design with the game but come on, it's really clever.
