Enlisted is a game about World War II. It is similar to games like Battlefield or Heroes and Generals. The only difference is that you control a squad with AI fighters. At the moment, 4 companies are available, these are the battle for Moscow, the landing in Normandy, the battle for Berlin and the company of Tunisia. During this period, the game was released in OBT and anyone can play. On September 8, a new company in Tunisia entered the PTA. British and Italian troops will clash on sandy maps. Added a new type of troops - motorcyclists.
On December 16, 2021, a major update was released with a new "armored train escort" mode and a new large map. New tanks were also introduced: tiger (tiger)

Enlisted is a squad-based multiplayer online first-person shooter dedicated to the key battles of World War II. The game recreates the atmosphere, weapons and military equipment of that era, and the battles are large-scale: hundreds of soldiers, tanks and aircraft, supported by artillery and navy, participate in one battle.

In most Enlisted modes, the player participates in infantry combat of several platoons and controls a detachment of soldiers with different specializations (submachine gunner, sniper, radio operator, gunner, grenade launcher) or the crew of a combat vehicle. The player can directly control any of the fighters, and give commands to the rest. If all soldiers are dead, he brings the next available unit onto the battlefield. Currently, Enlisted is testing modes for 20 players and up to 140 soldiers in one session at the same time. Thanks to this decision, the battles in Enlisted look big, while the contribution of each individual player to the victory of the team is noticeable.

Enlisted is being developed by Darkflow Software on the Dagor engine, which powers Gaijin Entertainment's online military action game War Thunder. Therefore, the detailed recreation of ground and air combat equipment looks, moves and is controlled as in life, and the model of its damage is realistic. For example, if a projectile pierces the armor of a tank, then the trajectory of the fragments and the consequences for the vehicle components and each crew member individually are calculated.

Peculiarities:

“Great mass battles replicating the scale of historical battles, like the Omaha Beach landings. There are often more enemies in combat than ammo in the magazine, but they also die from a few hits.

– The high contribution of each participant to the victory of the team: despite the scale of the battles, the result significantly (for example, by 1/10, not 1/70) depends on how each individual player fights. The actions of one person can turn the tide of the entire battle.

– Variety of game roles: in the same battle, you can clear a trench from an automatic fire, win a sniper duel, break through the defenses on a tank, knock out someone else’s armored vehicle with a grenade, or cover allies from the air.

– Enlisted looks realistic in the smallest detail – from the appearance of soldiers and buildings to the mechanics of tank damage, as well as a list of weapons and vehicles that are available in certain historical battles.

The player can customize and train units to suit their personal combat style - change the equipment of soldiers and get perks and upgrades for them, without going beyond the limits of authenticity.
