The rage for baseball stadiums in Latin America continues, and the opening of the new monumental Zimón Bolívar stadium in Caracas, only added fuel to the fire. The new stadium, endorsed by the mlb, and with a capacity of up to 40,000 spectators, in addition to triggering admiration and praise throughout Latin America, also brought with it many controversies, criticisms, and controversial statements.
