This Fall, the School of Public Policy welcomed back Victor Davis Hanson, the Inaugural Terry Giles and Kalli O’Malley Distinguished Visiting Professor, to teach a political issue seminar titled "Leadership and Key Decisions of World War II." The class's significance became ever more apparent after a recent interview between Tucker Carlson and Darryl Cooper on the topic of Winston Churchill. Hanson, a military history and strategy expert, shares his thoughts with Dean Pete Peterson.

Victor Davis Hanson is the inaugural Giles-O'Malley Distinguished Visiting Professor at the School of Public Policy. Hanson is also the Martin and Illie Anderson Senior Fellow in Residence in Classics and Military History at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University; Professor Emeritus of Classics Emeritus at California State University, Fresno; and the Wayne and Marcia Buske Distinguished Fellow in History at Hillsdale College.
