Grassland ecosystems provide valuable benefits like filtering water. To remain healthy, grassland ecosystems require grazers. Cattle and the ranchers who manage their grazing patterns are important to healthy grasslands and therefore clean water. However, poor livestock management will harm the grassland and can impact our local water.
