The word ‘Satkaryavada’ is made of the combination of three words: Sat, Karya and Vada. ‘Sat’ means Existence, ‘Karya’ means manifested effect and ‘Vada’ means theory.
Satkaryavada is the theory of the existence of effect in cause prior to its production.
Two types of Satkaryavada: Parinamavada and Vivartavada
