Welcome to my latest video! In this video, I showcase gameplay of Project Zomboid on the Steam Deck. Project Zomboid isn't the prettiest game, but it can be quite demanding sometimes. Nevertheless it runs great even on High settings and you can enjoy a smooth experience for about 3 hours of battery life. The game runs natively without the need for Proton. The game is also the same version as on PC, allowing you to connect to most multiplayer servers.

I found the default control scheme a bit hard to learn at first, however one of the unique features of the Steam Deck is its ability to customize the control scheme, allowing for a more personalized and enjoyable gaming experience. There are various community layouts to test and tweak. Just make sure you do that while there are no zombies around.

The Steam Deck is the perfect companion for a game like Project Zomboid. The portability and long battery life of the Steam Deck means you can take your game on the go and play for hours on end.
