They say 83% of Santa Monica Mountains federal parkland burned in the Woosley fire this month. I was grateful to return to this great trail in an unburned section. Topanga to my right was still under mandatory evacuation and I wouldn't ride down in Sullivan Canyon to my left because I wouldn't want to get trapped there. Thankfully Topanga was spared and we got rain soon after.

This trail is great! I posted it many times before riding the big trail bike, which is more appropriate for the jumps and steep rutted sections. But it's still a blast on the XC bike as long as you remember you have only 100mm of travel.
