THIS IS AN OUTDATED VERSION OF THE BUS ROUTE. 298 WILL BE AMENDED TO TAMPINES NORTH BUS INTERCHANGE ON 8 JANUARY 2023.

In this video, we ride Feeder Route 298.

Introduced on 21 October 2017, 298 is the second bus route to be introduced to Tampines Concourse Bus Interchange under the Bus Service Enhancement Programme (BSEP). 298 is also the first feeder bus route to operate out from Tampines Concourse Bus Interchange, passing through Tampines Avenue 4, Street 82 and 86.

As part of the opening of the Downtown Line 3, 298 provides residents in Tampines with a greater connectivity to the new Downtown Line MRT station in Tampines. In addition, Tampines Concourse Bus Interchange is now nearer to the Downtown Line MRT station (Exit E) in Tampines, making travelling from the new MRT station to the bus interchange much easier.
