Tony Chiaramonte is the Vice President and co-owner of DCB Performance Boats, currently headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. Established over 30 years ago in 1990 by Dave Hemmingson, the company initially went by the name "Dave’s Custom Boats." DCB soon emerged as the preferred destination for top-tier, custom-rigged Eliminator Daytona’s and other high-performance outboards. Chiaramonte came onboard with Hemmingson in 1993, starting at the grassroots by sweeping floors and cleaning boats. This allowed him to immerse himself in the intricate world of performance powerboat building. Now, in 2023, Chiaramonte helms the ship. Under his leadership, DCB has launched more than 15 boat models, with the M37R being the latest and the M42R currently in the works.

Producing fewer than 20 boats annually, DCB prides itself on delivering significant, custom, one-of-a-kind boats that reflect the individuality of each owner. These "fiberglass masterpieces" are meticulously constructed in-house, employing the most cutting-edge building techniques.

Chiaramonte, in line with the premium boats he crafts, is a seasoned high-performance driver. He has considerable experience steering watercraft that can reach speeds upward of 170 mph. Chiaramonte personally tests each boat with its new owner. He dedicates extensive time, sometimes spanning multiple days, ensuring that the owner is entirely comfortable and proficient in maneuvering their new vessel.

Chiaramonte's exceptional driving skills were recently spotlighted when he earned a place in the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout’s Bob Morgan Memorial Hall of Fame.
