It would make a lot of sense for the later typewriters to have been printers as well wouldn't it? Well, here's what happens when they are!

This is one of those things I've been waiting to find at a thrift store because they aren't "rare", but they sure aren't common either. This Smith Corona though is really cool and fit the bill perfectly. It's actually my first non-IBM typewriter, I had made that a limit for myself for collecting typewriters because it's a never ending collection of tons of variety. So now my limits are IBM and SMC ;).

While these aren't all that rare, I'm still surprised they weren't more common. The price really is the problem though, that $730 then to get the whole setup now is about $1,738.39 now with inflation. But the Brother EP-22 was $194.50 at the same time, ~$478 now. So it was possible to be cheaper, but still not that cheap. But the EP-22 was just the worst of all worlds, I still want one though.

This was also shot with a "new" mic I bought a goodwill for $5. Shockingly, it wasn't an upgrade. But what it was, was a test because this was an XLR mic. I didn't previously have a vocal XLR mic so this let me try a new workflow that was a lot easier for me. The concept worked, but this mic was terrible. It's an AKG D8000M, so it's not meant for this kind of thing.
