Roberts video #20. I come face-to-face with the prospect that we have a 220-volt European heating element. I can't get the machine up to pressure and the label on the base indicates 220v, two solid indicators that we have a 220v element. Stay tuned at the end for the picture of the label on the base. Emilia told me that her father had this machine converted to 110v before leaving Italy in the 1980s, but signs indicate otherwise.
