The Iowa RENT Project is a series of community events taking place throughout 2022 in various locations around the State of Iowa. Our main event will be a fully mounted production of the musical RENT at the Iowa City Community Theater in December. With professional musicians, designers, and visual artists from all over the Midwest, the Iowa RENT Project seeks to educate & inspire everyone we encounter both locally with our in-person shows and all over the world through our website, YouTube channel, and various social media.

The Iowa RENT Project's mission is to promote education and raise awareness of LBGTQ-IA and HIV/AIDs issues to the citizens of Iowa and beyond. To that end, we have partnered with several amazing Iowa-based non-profit organizations such as OneIowa, United Action for Youth (UAY), and PITCH to highlight all of their amazing services and raise money to assist them in carrying out their missions.
