In the early hours between 3 AM and 4 AM, a brazen robbery occurred in United Village, Chumoukedima district. The thief attempted to break into three homes, successfully making off with three cellphones and an undisclosed amount of cash. Victims reported that the intruder not only stole valuables but also ransacked their homes, leaving behind a trail of disorder. CCTV footage captured the thief in action, and the victims have submitted this evidence, along with an FIR, to the Diphupar police station for further investigation. Local authorities are now examining the footage to track down the culprit. No arrests have been made so far.
