Marilyn Manson on Pop World (June 9, 2007)

In this segment of the interview, after Manson spins the Wheel of Limitations, he talks about the raining blood scene in his music video for "Heart-Shaped Glasses".

When asked if it was real pigeon blood used in the scene, Manson says he can neither confirm nor deny, which according to Evan Rachel Wood in "Phoenix Rising",, means that it is true (even though we know it is not), since according to her, when Manson says he can neither confirm nor deny, that it is true (it is actually usually not true but he just appreciates the rumor and mystique).

Manson also tells us that Evan told him after the video was done, "Raining blood is more romantic than a diamond," to which Manson replied, "Dying is a girl's best friend."
