Summertime backpacking over Overlook Mountain down to Echo Lake with my 6 year old son. Join along as we hike over Overlook Mtn to Echo Lake for beautiful night in the woods in our hammocks. The next day we hike back up Overlook Mountain to explore the fire tower and Overlook Mountain House Ruins.

I show how to start a fire with a ferro rod and birch bark, meet the local residents of Echo Lake, talk a little about my preferred water purification, and have some great chats with my boy.
