On Sunday 10th April, engineering works at London Victoria resulted in four of the diverted London Bridge to Dorking circuits were diagrammed for Class 455's. It was one of the last opportunities to catch a 455 to Dorking before their withdrawal, so I took a ride on 455805 which was working 1I20 12:12 London Bridge to Dorking. This video features the journey between London Bridge and Sutton via West Croydon (as this train was also diverted on the day of operation due to an emergency possession in the Mitcham area) as well as between Cheam and Epsom.

Also featured are some fantastic traction sounds from the GEC EE507 motors and camshaft control system for which the 455's will be especially missed for!
