In simple steps, drain your hose pipes and avoid pipe rupture and antifreeze value failures:
1- Inside the house: close the supply valves
2- Outside the house: remove hoses and open hose valves
3- Inside the house: open drain plug and drain the lines. Use plastic bag to collect water.
4- close outside valves. This will stop air circulation
5- Empty the hose by lifting one side and move to the other end.
I hate the small drainage plug so I made a full 1/2" drainage valve instead.
