It's Christmas Day 2023 at Vail Ski Resort in Colorado. 85% of the trails on The Front Side, The Back Bowls, and Blue Sky Basin are open. Squeak, squeak, that's the cold sound of today's snow adventure centered on China Bowl. Some powder, some crunch, lots of terrain, and no lift lines. The sun comes and goes all day, making for some variable light conditions. When the sky is blue, it's very blue. More sun, please. Could have used better wax on this cold, cold snow.
