The third plenary session of the IISS Manama Dialogue 2020 featured speeches by Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister; Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Jordan; Dr Fouad Hussain, Deputy Prime Minister; Foreign Minister, Iraq; and Dr Hamdullah Mohib, National Security Advisor, Afghanistan.

They shared their views on the Abraham Accords, and the need for multilateral approaches to national security challenges with regional ramifications. They argued for the need to reassert state authority and capacity, to secure a more prosperous future for the people of Iraq and Afghanistan.
