Explainer on how Energized Neck Coil works now, plus 3 build variations using it. I love this item and it holds a special place in my heart for the role it played in my fists-only run, and while it's still unique in that it's the only item in the game that scales its damage based on the damage of other items, it's pretty solidly tied to DoT builds now and no longer defines its own playstyle.

Energized Neck Coil honestly doesn't play a huge role in these builds and will never be build defining anymore because of its reliance on the DoTs that apply it, but it adds a good amount of DPS to Firestorm and consistently outperforms other options like Talisman of the Sun, at least for pure Firestorm builds (check the pinned comment for an in-depth comparison).
