Jangir Agha (or Jahangir Agha, Yezidish: Щангир Аг'а, Armenian: Ջահանգիր Աղա; Russian: Джаангир Ага) (ca. 1874-1943) is a prominent military and social figure of Armenia in early 20th century and a national hero of the Yezidi people.

He was born in Chibukhli village of Van province of Western Armenia (currently included in Turkey). A number of songs are written about Jangir Agha by Yezidis.
During Armenian-Turkish battles in 1918 he greatly helped in victory over Turks and Kurds in the village Molabalzet.

Jangir Agha participated in Bash-Aparan battle with his Yezidi battalion of 1500 horsemen against Turkish Army invaded Armenia. He also joined Armenians during anti-Bolshevik revolt of February 18, 1921 and participated battles for Yerevan.

In 1938 he was repressed by Stalin regime and sent to Saratov prison, where he died. In 1959 rehabilitated posthumously.
