My Dad is interviewed on BBC Radio Stoke on Friday 3rd January 1997 after recently being awarded the MBE.
He talks about his railway career up to that point when was working for Railtrack. He retired later that year.
Sadly, I have no idea who the DJ is.
This was professionally recorded by a media company for Railtrack on behalf of Dad. Sadly, they messed it up and all 3 copies we have on tape are at the wrong pitch, making Dad sound high pitched and squeaky! Thankfully I was able to correct it!
