Invest 95L has strengthened into the second tropical depression of the season. The National Hurricane Center forecasts it will reach the Lesser Antilles and the Caribbean Sea as a Category 2 hurricane.

It is expected to directly impact the islands of Martinique, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and Barbados. Indirect effects are anticipated in the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.

Another tropical storm could form in the same region.
