A house system is to merely ensure that students take part in extra curricular activities with a competitive spirit. It helps students learn team spirit and things you can only learn in groups. It is a very healthy idea. Most schools have 4 house where INTAYA PUBLIC SCHOOL also following same methods.

Students, teachers and staff members are organised into teams or houses 'vertically' across the school. The primary purpose of the House System is to create a sense of 'spirit and belonging across the school and allow students to mix with girls at different grade levels during organised events.
