As Kris, Susie, and Ralsei walk on a path in the Cloudlands with the mission to find Cao Tinh, they're attacked by the demon who destroys the path and forces them to stand on ascending platforms. As they go beyond the clouds, they are met with a grim realization— they have arrived too late.

1. Is this a fangame?
R: No, even though it looks very realistic, it's not a fangame. It's an animation made in After Effects.

2. What happens if Cao Tinh is not fought?
R: If Cao Tinh isn’t fought, he won’t be able to evolve. When the fountain is sealed, he’ll turn back into a regular fox and eventually starve to death.

3. Why is Cao Tinh so powerful?
R: Cao Tinh isn’t a typical Secret Boss. He’s what I call an "anomaly" Secret Boss. He took the place of the intended Secret Boss and became much stronger than he should’ve been. His power comes from the philosophy he acquired after being mistreated for so long— It's eat or be eaten. He’s fighting against the fate that was forced on him through all means necessary, but no matter how hard he tries, Destiny won't let him escape his fate.

4. Who was the original Secret Boss that Cao Tinh defeated?
R: The original Secret Boss was "The Cat with Nine Lives," who lost one of their lives and the Shadow Crystal to Cao Tinh. Now, the Cat has been reduced to a shopkeeper... mostly.

5. What are the other Secret Bosses of Unimagined?
R: Some of you may already know Billy Chance, who is the Secret Boss of Unimagined Chapter 3. More info on the rest of the bosses will come out later (mostly on my Soundcloud). As for more animations, we'll see with time.

6. Wait, were Chapter 1 and 2 changed?
R: Yes, Deltarune Unimagined completely changes and expands the Deltarune world. For example, Hometown is now Homecity, and it has a mall where Chapter 5 takes place. Similarly, Castle Town has become Castle City.

7. Is this related to Lambdarune?
R: No, Deltarune Unimagined is a separate Alternate Universe (AU). However, as a fun fact, some concepts that didn’t make it into Lambdarune are being used in Unimagined.

8. What are the inspirations behind Cao Tinh?
R: Cao Tinh was first thought up in 2022 during the early stages of Lambdarune as a possible Chapter 5 Secret Boss. His design is based on the Kitsune and the Nine-Tailed Fox, similar to the style of the game Okami.

9. What does Cao Tinh's name mean?
R: Cao Tinh can mean either "Nine-Tailed Fox" or "Fox Says".
