**Warning: This project requires work with potentially lethal voltages in excess of 700 volts. This is my 2nd video series on rebuilding an AC-4 Power Supply, which supplies power to my Drake T-4XC transmitter. In this series, I am using the HeathkitShop's current version of the kit as of 10/2021. In this series, I recorded the build 99% in it's entirety. There are 7 parts to this series, as I tried to parse this series in roughly 30 minute bites. Some sections of the videos may be tedious for some folks, but it shows me going through each step, and making a few mistakes in the process, which happily I caught. If you are considering a similar upgrade - as all AC-4's will require this sooner or later (probably sooner), then it might be helpful to watch the series. Below is a link to the Kit used in this video. There is at least one other kit available from another maker, so it's up to you to decide which you prefer. Heathkitshop DID NOT sponsor this video, nor are there other sponsors.

This is not the same power supply as the earlier video series (that power supply is working great!). This power supply was given to me along with a T-4XC and a R-4B by a ham friend who found it in a barn. A literal barn find with the hay detritus inside and out to prove it. The T-4XC has extreme PA damage. I haven't examined the R-4B as of this writing, but I intend to repair/refurbish both rigs in the future. The first step in that process is right here - getting the power supply in good working order.......
