Getting ready to get my pump disconnected from my 8th and what will be my final chemotherapy treatment. After getting my Signatera back negative, enduring eight cycles, and having low CEA I think that moving from active treatment to monitoring for a return of cancer is a much better approach. I had one polyp during my colonoscopy all other indicators are that the cancer is gone and active monitoring for the next several years should really be enough. My body is not responding well to the chemo. My last platelet count was at 101; barely high enough to get treatment.
