The Well of Vouliagmeni is one of the infamous dive sites in Greece. At the bottom of "the well" is an entrance to an underwater cave with extremely strong currents. The cave has not been fully explored and no one knows where it begins and ends.

Many divers tried to explore it but most were sucked in by the strong current and never recovered. In the 80s a steel gate was placed in front of the cave to stop divers trying to enter it.

The old sign you on the gate reads:
"Nothing beyond this point is worth your life"
