In this overview video, discover all the new features in the Neo 4.1 update, including explaining what’s changed with the new UI, showing how to use the new effect master faders, and more!

The Neo 4.1 software update brings the new UI / UX of the Neo X Series to all current and legacy Neo Series products, including the Neo C10 Console, Neo Rack Playback Controller, and Neo PC Software, as well as the first-generation Neo Console. The new interface brings the docked window frames, modern look and feel, and wide range of enhancements and bug fixes first seen on the Neo X Series to the rest of the Neo Series consoles.

As well, the update offers several new enhancements for the entire Neo range, including the ability to load scripts and other PDFs into the console with synced cue points, along with support for Capture Presentation files to run visualization on the console (note that Capture software is required to create Capture Presentation files). It also adds several updates to make it even faster and more convenient to adjust your user experience during programming, such as tabbed frames that allow users to quickly switch back and forth between different windows within the same frame along with snapshot filters to quickly recall exactly, and only, what you want from a snapshot.

As well, the new Neo 4.1 update eliminates the need for universe upgrades in all Neo consoles. With the new update, all new and existing Neo Series consoles will offer the maximum number of universes possible in the console (10 universes for the Neo C10 Console, 100 universes for all other models) without the need to pay anything to “unlock” the console. This will allow customers to get the most out of their hardware at no additional cost, supporting the needs of their rig today and in the future.

For live event operators, the Neo 4.1 update brings a number of new enhancements to using effects when busking. With new “effect master faders,” a single playback fader/button can control multiple parameters in a live, hands-on, and dynamic way. For example, chases can be synced with a tap tempo button, with the ability for each effect to respond differently to the tap tempo as desired. As well, there have been various other improvements to effects, including more intuitive ways to play and pause multiple effects simultaneously.

In addition to these improvements, there have been over 125 other enhancements and bug fixes in Neo 4.1.
