Took a couple day,s regrouped and headed back out to the river for some muzzleloader hunting. This time, I was headed downriver to an area where have been dreaming about... I had the entire 7 mile stretch of river bottoms to myself. Had a very successful trip and was able to really check out the area. Peaceful and beautiful as always. And I was able to get some delicious venison. Think I have one more of these trips in me and take a holiday hunt back in Buffalo County.
