Gretchen and I decided on upstate New York for our honeymoon, and we couldn't resist enjoying a day of ice fishing on world class Chaumont Bay. We went out with Chaumont Masters Guide Service, and had a wonderful time catching perch. Gretchen also hooked a big Northern Pike that snapped off at the hole when I couldn't get the head turned the right direction. In the course of the trip, we also enjoyed hiking and waterfalls at Watkins Glen, and the annual Fire and Ice Festival at Chautauqua Harbor Hotel.
