Today's daily update video from South Africa is from 14 August 2024. In this video, we start with gale force winds in Jeffreys Bay in South Africa today. The road was closed due to the winds, making crossing dangerous from Paradise Beach to Aston Bay. Then, wet road conditions near the Gifberg mountain near Vanryhnsdorp. We show the scenic beauty from Wonderview to Graskop, captured by Sharon Anderson. Navigate across the bridge over the low waters of the Orange River at Aliwal North and experience the hustle and bustle of coal trucks waiting to enter Richard’s Bay harbour just after 11 pm. Explore the entrance to Meiringspoort from De Rust and marvel at the majestic Lisbon Falls in Graskop. Capture the essence of Bloubergstrand, reflect on history atop Spionkop Hill in KwaZulu Natal, and feel the force of 61 km/h wind gusts in Noordhoek., and we visited several more places across South Africa.
