This tutorial shows how to cast an ingot from scrap silver. For this, you need a crucible, a torch that produces quite a bit of heat (probably an acetylene torch), an ingot mold, protective and safety equipment, and a well ventilated area. Make sure you have considered all of the safety issues surrounding working with molten metal before you attempt this.

I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others, as I've taught people for most of my life. This hobby turned into a fun side gig for me for years while I taught public school. I love suggestions and hearing about others' experiences. What is your favorite project? What kind of tutorials would you find useful? Scroll down for information on my new Patreon!

Please feel free to share this video, and I would love to have you subscribe! Make sure to ring the bell for updates when new videos are uploaded.
