In the final part of the Semmering Bahnwanderweg (Semmering Railway Hiking Trail) trilogy, I travel from Semmering to Mürzzuschlag, which is the final destination on the route. Starting in Semmering, I visit the museum at the railway station, where I receive some great local knowledge from Dagmar, one of the volunteers. I then trek via the Südbahn Hotel to the Zauberberg, which in winter is a well known local ski resort with a floodlight piste. After that it was onto Mürzzuschlag and a visit to the Südbahn Museuem. I also visited the entrance and the infobox at the new Semmering Basistunnel (Semmering railway tunnel). Enjoy!
