I had to change the oil in my 2017 GSX-R 750 (600's should be the same). I had to remove the left-side fairing/panel to do so and I wanted to find a video to show me how. However, all the videos I looked at either skipped the step completely or glossed over the process, not showing the details of how to do so.

In this video I focus on how to remove the panel; the rest of the oil change procedure is a secondary concern.

Two points to make below:
1) yes, you can change the oil without removing the panel completely but it's much easier to access the filter with the panel removed and it won't drain oil inside the fairing which will then blow out and look like ass.
2) you may break a small push-pin rivet on the "inside cowling" nearest the forks. I did. It's easily replaced. The part number is: 09409-06314. I found a 20 pack on Amazon for $6.40 with free Prime shipping.
