My 1998 Kaitai is the first real mountain bike I bought myself. She was the bike I rode around the neighborhood. The bike I road during university. At both universities. She was the bike that took me down my first single track. She has Knicks and dinks and scratches all over, but they all tell a story, most of which I don't remember. It has always been a dream of mine to hang her in my studio so I can reminisce of all the great times I had. And not it's happen. Mounted in such a way that If I so choose I could put her back together and go for a ride.
