To use cheats, hold CONTROL + SHIFT + C at the same time to bring up the cheats bar, and then type in 'testingcheats true' to turn cheats on.

In general the format for career promotion cheats is careers.promote X, where X is the career that your sim is currently in.

The format for career demotion cheats is to substitute out promote with demote. For example careers.demote X, where X is the career that your sim is currently in.

Finally we have a cheat to allow you to buy objects that are locked behind careers or goals and objectvies.
