Following the fierce battle over boundary dispute between Peren’s Kiyevi and Lamhainamdi village on November 7 that led to tension prevailing in the area. The Lamhainamdi villagers on November 25 held a general meeting where people where altogether 14 tribes took part. While talking to NLTV over the frequent untoward incidents that have occurred quite a number of times, many villagers have expressed their grievances. Many villagers opined while they had faced the wrath because of the boundary dispute between the villages but wanted the state government to resolve the matter at the earliest and restore peace. While talking to NLTV, Chairman of the village said despite the villagers serving a 10 day ultimatum to the government of Nagaland, wherein they demanded state government to immediately withdraw ‘Biased Police Personnel’ and also lift the ‘Biased Status Quo Order’ on the area, the government failed to comply. The 10 day ultimatum expired on November 25
