"JANGDO" knife is one of the representative knives in Korea.
This knife has been used since the Goryeo Dynasty in Korea and became popular during the Joseon Dynasty.
They are decorated with gold, silver, jade, and wood, and are called "Geumjangdo", "Eunjangdo", "Okjangdo", and "Mokjangdo" depending on the materials used.
This knife was used as a toy or ornament, or as a self-defense and household tool.
Among them, the "Eunjangdo" decorated with silver is representative, which was regarded as a symbol of honor of women during the Joseon Dynasty.
"Jangdo" in my video is "Mokjangdo" using wood.
