2001 Royal Rookies Baseball Card Pack Opening | Another Cabrera Rookie??? #vintagebaseballcards

Opening packs like the 2001 ROYAL ROOKIES Baseball card packs are always fun in their own special way. First, from my vantage point, it seems that the 2001 ROYAL ROOKIES Baseball card packs are not found in the wild all that often. Makes them positively fun to rip. Next, there are potentially great cards worth money in these packs - primarily little seen examples of Todd Helton, Ken Griffey Jr, Alex Rodriguez - and the top card in this set the Miguel Cabrera rookie card. There are potential autographs as well - from Rick Ankiel, JJ Putz and, of course Miguel Cabrera! There are also "Limited Edition cards - not numbered, hand numbered cards LOL!, promo cards - and MANY duplicates if you open more than 1 pack!

Another fun part of opening these cards in my mind - is the thought that all the players in these packs were once thought to be upcoming great players. It is interesting to see how many (most!) did not make it beyond their first year in the majors - some only a few games. It really puts things in perspective when considering younger baseball players.
