A few weeks ago, I attended Basement One's car meet at Seah Im Carpark, which was jointly hosted by The Corner Shop to commemorate the launch of their Carnival x Initial D merchandise. As a result, many of the cars that showed up looked like they came straight out of Initial D, such as the two Toyota AE86s sporting the iconic Fujiwara Tofu Store livery.
Unfortunately, the event ended prematurely as police cars were called in to disperse the crowd. They blocked off the entrance of the carpark and stopped cars from entering. The cars in the carpark were told to leave as well, causing a traffic jam as everyone was trying to make their way out simultaneously.
