This summer we’re heading back out on the road for a second series of wild weekends. We want you to experience what a weekend in nature looks like through the eyes of someone new each month. We'll be going hiking in Yorkshire, learning about farm to table cooking in Dorset and foraging in Herefordshire in a bid to reconnect you with the outdoors.

First up, urban birdwatcher Lira Valencia takes a trip out of the city to a rewilding treehouse in Gloucestershire, where she goes wild swimming, birdwatches from the outdoor bath and meets a one-day-old cow with enviable eyelashes.
