I've recently got into drawing celtic knots and have been playing with patterns based on the triquetra (sometimes referred to as the trinity knot).

I like to see what I can do to expand and extend patterns, and so, in this video I share my process of working towards a complex pattern of linked circles and knots, sharing tips I discovered along the way. I hope you find it useful.

I have some recommendations for finding more about Celtic Art. A couple of channels on YouTube; David Nicholls and Aon Celtic Art are both really helpful. I've also been working through Aidan Meehan's 'The Book of Celtic Design' and have found lots of inspiration there.
