Whirlpool wfw9150ww and other similar washing machines. Washer cycle starts, runs for about six minutes, light blinks eight times, pauses, blinks once, then repeats (f8e1 error code). Fix that worked for me at 2:08 plus other troubleshooting steps (pump filter at 0:29 and water supply screen at 0:50) that weren't the problem for me but may be for you.
